ALDRICH, Artie Donaldson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Artie I. Aldrich, 79 of Cayuga, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 17, 1973) at St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 13. She had been ill for one year. Mrs. Aldrich and her husband operated a grocery store on Cayuga Rout 1 for 30 years. She was born March 1, 1894 in Stringtown, Ind., the daughter of Edward and Emma Middlemess Donaldson. She was married to Julius S. Aldrich July 21, 1909 in Newport, Ind., and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris Webb, of Caygua; two sons, Charles Aldrich of Cayuga and Reginald F. Aldrich of Bridgeton N. J.; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. EST Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. The Rev. Wendell Adams will officiate and burial will be in the Thomas cemetery near Newport, Ind. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. EST Monday at the funeral home.
